The versatility of Franke’s Spectra range of fully automatic coffee machines is quite unique. Franke’s stated aim is to offer each customer the ideal coffee machine configuration. The Spectra also provides a choice of three individual solutions for operating the coffee machines. They include the basic standard display, the at-a-glance Vetro display for the self-service sector, and the touch panel, which provides virtually limitless options for the display of products.

Espresso Specialists, Inc., one of North America’s leading commercial espresso machines sales and service organizations, announces a name change to Franke Coffee Systems North America effective Monday, August 27, 2007. The Seattle-based company is one of seven sales and service organizations for Aarburg, Switzerland-based Franke Coffee Systems.

On 6 April 2005, in the presence of leading personalities from the world of politics and business, we celebrated a milestone in the history of Franke Coffee Systems, namely the official opening of our new coffee machine plant in Aarburg. The plant is the foundation that will secure leading position. It gives us the opportunity to expand further and to capitalise on our potential. We’re proud of our new home, and this is good opportunity to remind ourselves that we owe Franke coffee machines to the farsighted entrepreneurial wisdom of Willi Pieper, the then proprietor and father of today’s Group Chief. When Willi Pieper bought up the coffee machine manufacturer Augsburger in 1984, his vision was to design a high-tech appliance with a high value added. (2286kb)

Franke sets up a subsidiary in Japan
Franke Coffee Systems Japan Ltd, which was set up in Tokyo in December 2004, has started operating. For the first time Franke is represented in Japan by its own sales and service company for professional coffee machines. This means Franke is investing further in strategic growth markets and new product generations.
